German dining, a unique and different experience.

Here is your guide to better understanding some of those German terms that are so difficult to pronounce.

Grobe Bratwurst - One of our most popular sausages, it is more coarsely ground and has added spices for more flavor.

Feine Bratwurst - A more finely ground, mild white Bratwurst with onions and lemon.

Weisswurst - Literally translated it means white sausage.  It is a traditional Bavarian sausage made from very finely minced veal and fresh pork bacon.  It is generally flavored with parsley, lemon, mace, onions and ginger.

Knockwurst - Thick link of sausage that is well flavored with garlic.  The name comes from the German Knack ("crack') and wurst ("sausage").  It was so named from the crackling sound the sausage makes when bitten into.

Wiener Schnitzel - Meaning veal filet Viennese style.  It is one of the most famous traditional Austrian dishes.  The veal filet is breaded and fried to absolute perfection.

Spatzle - Wonderful German noodles best served with butter.  Wonderful side dish for any traditional German meal.
